bAI Labs is an applied AI innovation lab in Annapolis, Maryland, backed by four decades of engineering leadership at BAI Group. Its work spans AI platforms, custom solutions, executive education, and applied research.

Specific work, clearly explained

AI companies often hide ordinary services behind abstract language. Readers hear about transformation and innovation but never learn what they can buy or what will be delivered.

We organized the site around the decisions a prospective client needs to make. Geo-bAI, a platform for working conversationally with geospatial data, and CNOVA, which turns field observations into organizational knowledge, each have room to be understood on their own. Consulting, education, and research are separated just as clearly, so visitors do not have to decode the company’s structure before finding the relevant offering.

Original art instead of borrowed imagery

Co-founder Davar Ardalan provided the artwork and set an important direction for the project: feature her original paintings instead of relying on stock photography or AI-generated imagery. We translated that material into a visual system for the web, using the paintings and related patterns throughout the site without letting them compete with the content.

The result feels human because the source material is human. That distinction matters for a company making the case that AI systems should reflect and support the people they serve.

We built the site on Webflow, giving the team direct control over a message and product range that will continue to change.
