Marven & Shaw
A restrained site for private-sector investigators whose credibility depends on seriousness, discretion, and clear routes for very different clients.
Marven & Shaw conducts complex investigations into corruption, money laundering, and fraud. The firm files civil complaints with leading law firms and supports law enforcement agencies and civil-society partners.
Confidence without theatrics
Investigations work comes with a familiar visual language: dark backgrounds, surveillance imagery, and the atmosphere of a thriller. For this firm, those choices would read as performance.
Lawyers, agencies, and whistleblowers are all assessing seriousness. A site that resembles a film poster suggests more interest in how the work looks than whether it stands up in court.
We kept the design restrained and typographic, allowing the writing to make the case. Experience, service, and values are presented as claims a reader can weigh, not slogans dressed up with effects.
The history section earns its place
The history begins in 1777, when ten sailors in the new American navy reported their commodore and became, in effect, the country’s first whistleblowers.
That story does more than a conventional mission statement. It reveals what the firm believes about the person taking the risk in a case. We gave it enough space to carry that meaning.
Three doors
The services separate into whistleblower complaints, boutique investigations, and law-enforcement support. A whistleblower and a federal agency do not need the same reassurance, so each route begins on the homepage and develops on its own terms.
The site runs on Webflow, where the firm can maintain its material without compromising the disciplined presentation.
